Canva is seeking a Principal Research Scientist to define how evaluation evolves as generative capabilities grow across Canva Research. You will own evaluation across design, image, video, audio and agentic workflows and shape trade-offs between compute, data, and signal fidelity.
You will lead metrics validation against human preferences and product outcomes, driving alignment between evaluation results and user experience across regions including Australia, Europe, the US, and China.
