Forklift Driver Operator

About the Role

n

Do you have a strong commitment to safety and proven forklift operating experience? We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy and fast-paced operation in Adelaide's northern suburbs, supporting the efficient handling and movement of goods across the site.

n

We are seeking experienced Forklift Drivers to support our warehouse and logistics operations.

n

This role is dedicated to forklift operation and material handling, supporting the efficient movement of goods across warehouse and dispatch functions.

n

Working as part of a high-performing team, you will help maintain product quality, meet production targets, and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards in a dynamic and supportive environment.

n

Your Duties May Include

n

n
- Loading and unloading raw materials and finished products using a forklift.
n
- Transporting stock, packaging materials, and ingredients throughout the facility.
n
- Operating, monitoring, and assisting with food production and packaging equipment.
n
- Assisting with machine setup, operation, and changeovers as required.
n
- Packing, labelling, palletising, and preparing products for dispatch.
n
- Ensuring products meet all quality control and regulatory requirements.
n
- Conducting product inspections and quality checks.
n
- Completing production documentation and records accurately.
n
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of work areas, equipment, and machinery.
n
- Adhering to all Workplace Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
n

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential).
n
- Previous forklift experience.
n
- Previous experience within the Food Manufacturing industry highly regarded.
n
- Strong understanding of workplace health, safety practices and food safety standards.
n
- Ability to strictly follow regulations, SOPs, policies, and procedures.
n
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
n
- High attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
n
- Strong physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks.
n
- Ability to lift up to 20-25kg when required.
n
- Own vehicle and current driver's licence.
n
- Valid working rights within Australia.
n
- Flexibility to work weekdays, overtime, weekends, and various shift patterns as required.
