And now, we're looking for a senior Account Manager, Corporate Development to help us build and sustain powerful partnerships that will shape MV's future.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As Account Manager, Corporate Development, you will drive revenue growth and support MV's strategic priorities through a world-class corporate partnerships and membership program. You will lead the stewardship, renewal and recruitment of MV's corporate supporters, providing outstanding service, ensuring deliverables are met, and identifying current opportunities that align with partners' business, brand, and social responsibility goals.
You will also play a central role in developing strategies, preparing high-quality proposals, and representing MV at key meetings and events. Working closely with the Manager, Corporate Development, you'll help deliver the corporate partnerships strategy and manage a portfolio of partners to meet ambitious financial targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional,
end-to-end account management to a diverse portfolio of corporate supporters, including reporting on partnership KPIs and identifying opportunities for engagement
- Stewarding, recruiting and renewing corporate partners and members to achieve revenue and growth targets, including developing compelling proposals for prospective partners
- Managing budgets and monitoring financial performance of partnership activities
- Leading cultivation and stewardship activities such as events and stakeholder engagement initiatives
- Managing contracts, ensuring compliance with MV and partner obligations
- Collaborating with colleagues across MV to create value for partners and align initiatives with MV's strategic priorities
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL HAVE
- Proven experience in developing and managing high-value corporate partnerships, including generating new revenue streams, preparing proposals, managing budgets, account management and delivering on agreements
- Tertiary qualifications in business, communications, marketing, arts, or a related field
- Excellent senior stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and sustain productive relationships internally and externally
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritise, multitask, and adapt in a dynamic environment
- High attention to detail, resilience under pressure, and a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with proficient experience in preparing presentations and high-level reports for diverse audiences
OTHER INFORMATION
- This is a VPS Grade 5.1, Full-time, Fixed Term (12 months) position.
- The salary offered is $116,413 per annum (base of grade) plus 12% superannuation in line with the Cultural and Creative Agencies Enterprise Agreement 2025
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Records Check
