Matrix Education is now hiring Maths Teachers to join us at our Bella Vista, Chatswood, Epping and Hurstville campuses.

n

This role is ideal for anyone who is a subject matter expert who can explain things clearly and is passionate about their area of expertise! Our team is a diverse group of high school Teachers, corporate professionals, educational outreach staff, university teaching staff and post graduate university students.

n

Classes commence at 4:30pm on weekdays or from 9:00am on weekends at our fabulous campuses, all within 3 minutes walk from major railway (or Metro) stations!

n

You will have the opportunity to work with a fun and talented team in a great work environment. Minimal lesson preparation is required as lessons and resources are provided for you.

What you'll do...

n

n




- Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term (all lesson materials and resources are prepared for you).
n
- Chance to teach classes in the upcoming school holidays.
n
- Ongoing monitoring of student's academic progress through marking of short weekly quizzes.
n
- Flagging of struggling students to academic team leaders for additional academic mentoring.
n

What you'll need...

n

n
- A genuine passion for teaching.
n
- Previous experience teaching secondary Maths in a classroom setting.
n
- Extensive knowledge of the current NESA curriculum in stage 4, 5, and 6 Maths.
n
- Completed their degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
n
- Postgraduate studies in the above listed disciplines will be highly regarded.
