We are seeking experienced Assistant in Nursing (AIN) professionals to join the healthcare team at Wolston Correctional Centre on a casual basis.

n

About the Role

n

Working as an AIN within a correctional healthcare setting, you will provide quality care and support to patients while working alongside a professional multidisciplinary healthcare team.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Providing compassionate and respectful patient care
n
- Supporting patients with personal care and daily living needs
n
- Monitoring and reporting changes in patient wellbeing
n
- Assisting nursing and healthcare staff with day-to-day patient care
n
- Maintaining accurate documentation
n
- Following infection control, safety and clinical procedures
n




- Promoting patient dignity, privacy and wellbeing
n

n

About You

n

To be successful, you will have:

n

n
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an AIN or Aged Care Worker
n
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent, OR be studying a Bachelor of Nursing
n
- Current First Aid and CPR
n
- Current National Police Clearance
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A professional, calm and respectful approach
n
- Ability to work effectively within a structured healthcare environment
n
- Commitment to patient safety, dignity and confidentiality
n
