Your New Role
AsSenior Manager, Line 1 Risk & Compliance, you’ll lead the Investmentsdivision’s first-line approach to risk management, controls and regulatorycompliance. Partnering closely with investment leaders, you’ll help embed aproactive risk culture, strengthen risk and control frameworks, and ensure thedivision operates with clear accountability, sound judgement and robustcontrols in a complex and evolving regulatory environment. Your role willinclude:
Leading Line 1 risk and compliance activities across Investments, ensuring key processes, controls and practices align with regulatory requirements, business rules, policies and organisational standards.
Driving a robust risk culture by supporting leaders to identify, assess and mitigate risks, while fostering accountability for controls, incidents and remediation activities.
Oversee risk assessments, control testing, regulatory obligations management and quality assurance frameworks across the investment function.
Lead the Investments division’s Line 1 response to CPS 230 requirements.
Leading incident and breach management, including root cause analysis, remediation oversight and reporting to governance forums and senior stakeholders.
Leading the Investment Model Risk and Validation team and representing the Investments division in cross-divisional risk forums.
How do you exceed our expectations?

10+ years’ experience in risk, compliance or investment roles within funds management or superannuation, including leadership experience.
Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments and the regulatory frameworks governing financial services.
Previous experience within a multi-asset investment business or super fund is essential, with strong knowledge of derivatives and both public and private market investments. Familiarity with BlackRock Aladdin would be highly regarded.
Demonstrated ability to build, test and enhance control environments, risk frameworks and operational processes.
Proven capability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate regulatory change and drive accountability across complex business environments.
Experience overseeing model risk and validation processes would be highly regarded.
A collaborative and values-led leader with a strong commitment to integrity, sound judgement and continuous improvement.
You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face. You are curious to understand risk context and choose to speak up as we simplify, learn and grow.
