Your new role

As the Value Stream Optimisation Lead, you will be responsible for assessing end-to-end business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and designing future-state operating models that deliver measurable business value. Working across multiple business functions, you will lead value stream assessments, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and develop transformation roadmaps aligned to strategic objectives. A key focus of the role will be identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, workflow optimisation, and advanced analytics to improve operational efficiency and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting value stream mapping and process assessments across key business functions.
- Identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, rework, and operational risks.
- Designing future-state processes and transformation roadmaps.
- Evaluating opportunities for Generative AI, intelligent automation, and process optimisation.
- Developing business cases, ROI models, and benefits realisation frameworks.




- Analysing operational data to identify improvement opportunities and measure outcomes.
- Building executive-level recommendations and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
- Partnering with risk, compliance, technology, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of improvement initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

- 8+ years' experience in Process Excellence, Operational Improvement, Continuous Improvement, or Business Transformation roles.
- Robust experience within Superannuation, Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Insurance environments.
- Demonstrated success delivering measurable operational and business improvements.
- Extensive value stream mapping and process optimisation experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification (mandatory).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
- Experience developing business cases, benefits realisation frameworks, and performance reporting.
- Exposure to AI, automation, digital transformation, or emerging technologies.
- A proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for driving continuous improvement and challenging the status quo.
