Sun Engineering is seeking an experienced SMP Construction Manager to lead the delivery of Structural, Mechanical and Piping works on a major project in Papua Recent Guinea (PNG).

n

This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving construction performance, leading multidisciplinary teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead all SMP construction activities from planning through to completion.
n
- Manage construction teams, supervisors, subcontractors, plant and resources.
n
- Drive project performance across safety, quality, productivity and schedule.
n
- Coordinate closely with project, engineering, procurement and client teams.
n
- Manage construction risks, resolve site issues and maintain commercial focus.
n




- Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, teamwork and safety.
n

About You

n

n
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior SMP Construction Manager.
n
- Strong background delivering SMP works on mining, mineral processing or heavy industrial projects.
n
- Strong leadership, planning and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence.
n
- Ability to work on a FIFO roster in PNG.
n
