The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Credit Officer to join a well-established national organisation. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative credit team, you will be responsible for managing a customer ledger, conducting collections activity and building strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and outstanding debtors
n
- Conducting collections activity across overdue accounts
n
- Following up outstanding payments and maintaining payment arrangements
n
- Processing customer payments and account reconciliations
n
- Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
n




- Responding to account queries and resolving issues promptly
n
- Assisting with sales order releases and credit administration
n
- Maintaining accurate customer records and collection notes
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience within Credit, Collections, Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role
n
- Must have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Professional and customer-focused approach - background in customer service is highly regarded!
n
- Ability to manage difficult conversations when required
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Confident using multiple systems and databases
n
- Intermediate Excel skills highly regarded
n
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
n
