We have a great opportunity for a Handy Person to join our team at Little National Hotel Sydney.

This is a full-time position, working Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on person with basic handyman and general maintenance skills who takes pride in keeping the hotel well maintained and presented.

About the role

n

As part of our team, you will help ensure the hotel is maintained to a high standard and provide day-to-day maintenance support across the property. Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out preventative and scheduled maintenance
n
- Completing general and ad-hoc maintenance and handyman tasks
n
- Assisting with basic repairs and upkeep throughout the hotel
n
- Responding to and prioritising maintenance requests as required
n
- Identifying maintenance issues and escalating more complex repairs where necessary
n
- Supporting the wider hotel team to maintain a safe, well-presented and welcoming environment for our guests
n

What we are looking for

n

n
- Basic handyman and general maintenance skills
n
- Previous experience in a maintenance, handyman or similar hands-on role is desirable
n




- A practical approach and willingness to assist with a variety of maintenance tasks
n
- Familiarity with workplace safety procedures and WHS requirements
n
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
n
- A customer-focused attitude and ability to work collaboratively with the wider hotel team
n
- Robust attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
n
- Reliable, qualified and well presented
n
- Availability to workTuesday to Saturday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
