Job Description

The practice is located in Sandgate, on the northside of Brisbane. We are known for our warm, welcoming and nurturing setting, and have a diverse client base. I treat babies, children, teenagers, parents, grandparents; all people are welcome in my practice.

There is another osteopath who works alongside myself, and I share my rooms with a longstanding successful psychologist. We have a part time receptionist to support the day-to-day operations and bookings of the clinic.

My business has steadily built up over the past 12 years, to reach its present state of efficiency. I have built a strong and respected reputation within the community, which has resulted in a consistent flow of referrals, through both word of mouth, and from other health professionals. The practice is thriving, with more patients than hours in the day for one practitioner.

The business is now poised to expand,



and so I am offering a position for a subcontractor, to manage the continuing growth of the practice.

I intend to negotiate the best times for the working schedule with the subcontractor, to meet the patient demand and continue to maintain the efficiency of the business.

I propose a 6-month probationary period, followed by a review. After this time, I hope to move forward with a continuing commitment to the practice. This naturally has the potential for the right individual to develop their own osteopathic business in time.
