We are seeking a reliable, fit and hardworking Trade Assistant join our construction team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a minimum of 2 years' construction experience who is comfortable working outdoors, assisting trades and completing a variety of general site duties.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform general labouring duties across construction sites across Sydney's Southwest.
n
- Assist trades and site personnel as required.
n
- Load, unload and move building materials, tools and equipment.
n
- Undertake manual handling and physical tasks throughout the day.
n
- Maintain clean, tidy and organised work areas.
n
- Assist with site set-up, pack-up and general site preparation.
n
- Handle materials and equipment safely and appropriately.
n
- Assist with deliveries and moving materials around site.
n
- Follow all site safety, WHS and environmental requirements.
n




- Assist with traffic management and vehicle movements when required.
n
- Carry out other general construction duties as directed.
n

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, dependable team player who takes pride in their work and is willing to get stuck in. You don't need to be a qualified tradesperson, but you should have solid construction experience, a good work ethic and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy site environment.

Essential Requirements

n

- Minimum 2 years' construction industry experience.
n
- Current White Card.
n
- Physically fit and capable of regular manual handling and physical work.
n
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
n
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety.
n
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around other trades and equipment.
n
- Current driver's licence preferred.
n

- Traffic Control experience or relevant Traffic Control qualifications.
