About the Role

n

This is a hands-on position responsible for the secure transportation, loading and unloading of materials, equipment and supplies across Sydney project sites.

n

You will operate heavy vehicles and truck-mounted cranes, working closely with project managers, supervisors and site teams to ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.

n

This role is ideal for an experienced driver who enjoys working in the construction industry and takes pride in operating equipment safely and professionally.

n

Hours of Work

n

Monday to Friday

n

7:00am – 3:30pm

n

Overtime and weekend work available as required.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Safely operate HR vehicles across metropolitan Sydney
n




- Operate truck-mounted cranes and lifting equipment
n
- Deliver construction materials, equipment and supplies to project sites
n
- Load, unload and position materials safely and efficiently
n
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections
n
- Ensure loads are secured in accordance with legislative requirements
n
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks and documentation
n
- Comply with all WHS, transport and site safety requirements
n
- Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers and site personnel
n
- Maintain vehicles and equipment in a clean and serviceable condition
n
- Represent Ideal Trades professionally on all project sites
n

About You

n

- Current HR Licence
n
- Current Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) Licence
n
- Demonstrated crane truck operating experience
n
- Demonstrated experience driving Road Ranger
n
- White Card
n
- Strong understanding of load restraint requirements
n
- Excellent driving history
n
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
n

Highly Regarded

n

- EWP Licence
n
- Experience delivering to construction, civil or infrastructure projects
n
- Experience operating a range of lifting equipment
n
- Basic mechanical aptitude
n
