About the Role

n

As a Diploma Qualified Assistant Educator, you will work alongside your Lead Educators and wider team to provide a high standard of care, education and support for every child.

n

n
- Build warm, genuine relationships with children and families
n
- Support the Lead Educator with the planning and implementation of engaging learning experiences
n
- Contribute to the room's program, planning and documentation
n
- Create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
n
- Support children's learning, development and wellbeing
n
- Work collaboratively as part of a strong and supportive team
n
- Assist with maintaining a safe,



clean and welcoming environment
n
- Communicate positively and professionally with children, families and educators
n
- Follow the EYLF, NQS and Little Saints policies and procedures
n
- Contribute to a positive team culture and continuous improvement
n
- Take initiative and actively participate in the daily running of the room
n

About You

n

- Diploma qualified in Early Childhood Education and Care
n
- Available Monday to Friday, with the flexibility to open and close when required
n
- Passionate about providing exceptional education and care
n
- Warm, nurturing and genuinely enjoys working with children
n
- A positive and enthusiastic team member
n
- Reliable, adaptable and willing to support their team
n
- Organised, proactive and able to take initiative
n
- A strong communicator who builds positive relationships
n
- Committed to ongoing professional learning and development
n
- Passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences for children
n
- Respectful, professional and committed to working within a high-quality early learning environment
n

n

Knowledge or experience with the Abecedarian Approach, EYLF and NQS will be highly regarded.
