About the opportunity

This is an exciting 12-month maximum term opportunity tolead an important service redesign that will strengthen support for older womenexperiencing, or at risk of, housing insecurity and homelessness. As ProjectManager – Older Women’s Homelessness Support, you will guide the review,redesign, implementation and evaluation of Footprints Community’s Housing OlderWomen’s Support Service (HOWSS), ensuring the future model is sustainable,clearly defined and responsive to community need. Reporting to the General Manager, you will provideend-to-end project leadership, taking the initiative from review andconsultation through to service model design, organisational and workforcedesign, implementation and operationalisation. You will establish and facilitatean advisory committee, lead meaningful stakeholder consultation, develop thefuture program model, establish program guidelines and operating frameworks, designroles and structures, formalise key partnerships and support effectiveorganisational change processes. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders,providing clear reports,



advice and recommendations to the Executive ManagementTeam while ensuring project risks, dependencies, decisions and implementationrequirements are appropriately managed. Once the redesigned model is in place,you will monitor its early operation, assess progress against program andcontractual objectives, and lead refinements before a formal handover.

About you

- You bring experience in change management,organisational design or service design, with the ability to translate ideasinto practical, sustainable service improvements.
- You have strong project management experiencegained in a complex community services, human services, government ornot-for-profit workplace.
- You understand the housing and homelessnesssector and bring professional experience that enables you to work confidentlywith partners, stakeholders and service teams.
- You are a clear and confident communicator, ableto prepare quality documentation, reports, correspondence and employeecommunications for a range of audiences.
- Experience establishing or facilitating advisorycommittees, lived-experience groups or co-design processes will be highlyregarded.
- Experience working with services that supportolder women experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness will be highly regarded.
- Experience in government-funded communityservice programs will also be valued.

You will need

- A current Queensland Class C Driver’s Licence.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (YellowCard) and Blue Card,



or willing to obtain.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in projectmanagement, human services, social work, community development, housing,business, public policy or a related discipline, and/or substantial equivalentprofessional experience.
- A formal project management qualification orcertification would be advantageous.
