The Essential Services Commission in Melbourne invites applications for a Senior Economist (VPS5) on a fixed term contract to 30 June 2027. You will lead economics research in the Energy Division, addressing emerging energy-market issues and informing regulatory decisions to protect Victorian consumers.

You will manage sizable datasets, apply advanced analytics, build stakeholder relationships and clearly communicate findings to diverse audiences while mentoring junior economists.
