GeSS Education is looking for a Junior Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing & Business Development team — someone creative, a little bit chaotic (the valuable kind), and keen to get real, hands‐on experience across marketing, social media, events and business development in the education world.

n

This isn't a "make the coffee and file things" junior role. You'll be designing content that actually gets posted, helping run events people show up to, and working directly alongside our Marketing & Business Development Manager who'll show you the ropes as you go.

What you'll actually be doing

n

Marketing & socials — Designing flyers, presentations and newsletters in Canva. Creating and scheduling social media content. Getting behind the camera for photos and videos (and learning some basic editing along the way). Keeping our website and marketing resources fresh.

Events & business development — Getting out and about at school visits, info sessions, open days and careers expos. Helping plan and set up events, pulling together info packs, and researching schools,



agents and new opportunities for GeSS.

Admin that doesn't feel like admin — Pulling together reports and meeting notes, and helping out with emails and day-to-day admin tasks.

n

Everything else — Jumping into marketing campaigns and special projects, coordinating bookings, and generally being the right hand to our Marketing & Business Development Manager.

About you

- Creative, organised and always one step ahead
n
- A natural communicator who's comfortable talking to all kinds of people
n
- Genuinely into marketing, social media and events (not just "good with Instagram")
n
- Handy with Microsoft Office and social platforms
n
- Keen to learn, ask questions, and be part of a team
n
- Able to work flexible hours and many events are held outside of the regular '9-5'.
