AbouttheRole

WeareseekingaWHSEQSpecialisttosupportourQueenslandoperations. ReportingtotheWHSEQNationalGeneralManagerbasedinWA,youwillplayakeyroleindrivingcompliance,strengtheningsafetyculture,andensuringtheeffectivenessofourHealth&SafetyManagementSystem.

Responsibilities

- EnsurecompliancewithWHS/OHSlegislationandregulatoryrequirements
n
- Audithazardousmaterialsstorageandhandling,identifyinggapsandimplementingimprovements
n
- Coordinatestatutoryhealthmonitoringofpersonnel
n
- Facilitateandtracksafetytrainingrequirementsacrossdepartments
n
- Reviewingevacuationproceduresandemergencyplan
n




- Conductingemergencydrillsandsiteevacuations
n
- Leadincidentandhazardinvestigations,ensuring:
n
- High-qualityinvestigationstandards
n
- Promoteastrongsafety-firstcultureacrossthebusiness
n

Qualifications

- Diploma(orhigher)inOccupationalHealth&Safetyorrelateddiscipline
n
- Backgroundinmanufacturing,productionortransportindustry
n

RequiredSkills

- Provenabilitytointerpretsafetylegislationandcommunicateitinclear,practicaltermstoemployeesatalllevels

- Abilitytobuildstrongworkingrelationshipsacrossalllevelsofthebusiness

- Experienceinmonitoringincidentandhazardinvestigations,withtheabilitytoclearlycommunicatefindingsandrecommendations
