We are seeking an experienced Practice & Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our growing veteran healthcare service.

n

This role requires direct experience working with DVA patients, including a strong understanding of the end-to-end patient journey, DVA applications, approvals and claiming processes.

n

You will take ownership of practice operations, patient services and team performance, while continually improving the systems and processes that support our growth.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Oversee the end-to-end DVA patient journey, from onboarding through to appointments, applications, approvals, claiming and ongoing care.
n
- Oversee DVA applications, claims and supporting documentation.
n
- Lead and support patient services and administrative teams, including workflow management and training.
n
- Monitor patient pipelines and ensure outstanding actions are proactively followed up.
n
- Develop and improve practice workflows, SOPs and internal processes.
n
- Work closely with doctors, specialists and internal teams to ensure smooth patient coordination.
n
- Maintain high standards across patient records, privacy, compliance and documentation.
n
- Identify operational improvements to enhance efficiency and patient experience.
n




- Support the continued growth and development of our veteran healthcare services.

About You

n

You are an experienced Practice or Operations Manager with strong DVA knowledge, confident leading a team, managing patient operations and driving improvements across a healthcare service.

n

- Direct experience working within DVA healthcare.
n
- Strong knowledge of DVA applications, approvals, claiming and documentation requirements.
n
- Experience managing the end-to-end DVA patient journey.
n
- Previous practice management, healthcare operations or similar leadership experience.
n
- Experience leading patient services or administrative teams.
n
- Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills.
n
- A proactive approach to improving systems and processes.
n

Highly Regarded

- Experience within the medicinal cannabis sector.
n
- Experience using Best Practice or similar patient management software.
n
- Knowledge of Medicare and broader Australian healthcare administration.
n
- Experience in business development or healthcare growth initiatives.
