Financial Accountant - Global ASX-Listed Business

Global ASX-Listed Business | Financial Reporting | 12-month FTC

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the Sydney head office of an established global ASX-listed business.

n

Working as part of an experienced finance function, this is a broad financial accounting role offering exposure across month-end, financial and statutory reporting, audit and finance transformation projects.

The Role

n

n
- Managing month-end activities across consolidated and subsidiary entities
n
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Supporting financial reporting across the group
n
- Assisting with the preparation of year-end and statutory accounts
n
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve financial and accounting queries
n
- Supporting external audit requirements and responding to audit queries
n
- Participating in finance transformation, systems and process improvement projects
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, controls and efficiency
n

About You

n





We are looking for an ambitious Financial Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and experience working within a listed or similarly complex corporate environment.

n

Ideally, you will bring:

n

n
- CA/CPA qualification or near completion
n
- Relevant accounting experience and confident across covering month-end, financial and statutory reporting, reconciliations and audit.
n
- Experience within an ASX-listed or similarly complex corporate environment
n
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to reporting deadlines
n
- Robust communication skills and confidence working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
n
- Candidates making their first or second move from Big 4 or mid-tier audit or business services into industry with strong listed-client exposure will also be considered.
