Role: Facilities Manager
n Location: Leichhardt Office (Multi site portfolio across Sydney)
n Package: Up to $150k inclusive of super

n

The Role:
n Reporting into the Head of Facilities Management, you will support facilities planning and asset management of a 130+ portfolio across Sydney, whilst also managing the relationships with multiple managing agents.

n

A significant part of your role will include overseeing multiple projects across the portfolio so candidates with a solid understanding of project management within facilities will be very well received.

n

Your duties and responsibilities as Facilities Manager:

- Acting as facilities point of contact for all stakeholders and tenants
n
- Developing effective relationships and providing reliable advice on all facilities matters
n
- Overseeing and actively managing multiple projects across the portfolio <$10m capex
n
- Preparing construction, maintenance and minor works contracts
n
- Proactively direct managing agents across a range of commercial and residential leases
n




- Manage engagement of contractors and conduct periodic reviews
n
- Support preparation and management of 10-year forecast maintenance budgets and annual budget preparation
n
- Work closely with WHS advisor to provide support on WHS issues and improvements
n
- Ensure all statutory obligations regarding maintenance and testing have been fulfilled
n
- Weekly WIP meetings with Head of Facilities Management to present updates
n

To be successful in your application, we are seeking the following skills/experience:

n

n
- 10+ years experience in facilities management
n
- Proven experience in WHS management and compliance
n
- Experience In negotiating and managing contracts
n
- Understanding of leases
n
- Project management experience at a range of scales and budgets
n
- Good report writing skillsAbility to build solid relationships with multiple stakeholders
n
- Able to commute to Leichhardt office and be willing to travel to multi-sites across Sydney.
