An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Mortgage Writer to join a highly successful Mortgage and financial advisory business based in the Sutherland Shire.

n

This role is ideal for a broker, loan writer or lending professional who enjoys working directly with clients and managing lending opportunities from enquiry through to settlement, without the pressure of sourcing their own leads.

With a consistent flow of qualified opportunities provided, you'll focus on delivering outstanding client outcomes, structuring lending solutions and driving applications through to approval and settlement.

The Opportunity

Working closely with senior leadership, you will take ownership of a substantial pipeline of residential lending opportunities while delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the entire lending journey.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage the end-to-end home loan process from application with support person
n
- Assess client requirements and workshop lending scenarios.
n
- Structure and present suitable lending solutions.
n
- Prepare and submit high-quality loan applications and credit submissions.
n
- Complete servicing assessments, lender calculators and pricing requests.




n
- Liaise with lenders, credit assessors, solicitors, valuers and other stakeholders.
n
- Ensure all applications are accurate, compliant and submitted efficiently.
n
- Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the lending process.
n
- Deliver exceptional service and build long-term client relationships.
n
- Operate within NCCP and relevant compliance frameworks.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in mortgage broking, loan writing, lending support or a similar lending role.
n
- Strong understanding of residential lending products and lender policies.
n
- Experience managing loan applications from submission through to settlement.
n
- Confidence dealing with self-employed and more complex lending scenarios.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
- The ability to manage multiple applications and priorities simultaneously.
n
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and strong problem-solving ability.
n
