Job Description

Grow Landscape Yard is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join our team on a casual basis. This position is based in Pomona, delivering all over the Sunshine Coast. As a HR Truck Driver, you will play a vital role in our product delivery whilst maintaining the highest standards of road safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver landscape supplies including soil, mulch, gravels and bases to residential and commercial customers
n
- Operate and drive heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and road safety regulations
n
- Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
n
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers and management regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise
n
- Maintain a skilled demeanor and represent Grow Landscape Yard positively to customers and the public
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or higher class driver's licence.
n
- Proven experience driving heavy vehicles in a commercial capacity
n




- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
- The ability to work independently and manage time effectively
n
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks
n
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform loading and unloading duties as required
n
- Loader and or forklift certification highly regarded
n
