We are seeking a Workshop Mechanic - Heavy Vehicles to assist with the maintenance and repair of our fleet. This position is based at our branch in Ingleburn with a Monday to Friday roster.

About the Role

n

As a qualified and experienced Workshop Mechanic, you will leverage your expertise across a diverse range of heavy vehicles. As a Workshop Mechanic you are responsible for carrying out high‐quality mechanical maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on company vehicles, trucks, and trailers. This role ensures all fleet assets are safe, reliable, and compliant with regulatory and operational standards.

What you'll be doing

n

Scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on vehicles, trucks, trailers, and associated equipment.

n

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.

n





Undertake engine overhauls, brake repairs, suspension work, drivetrain repairs, and fault rectification as required.

n

Ensure all work is completed to manufacturers' standards, service checklists and organisational safety expectations.

n

Maintain accurate service and repair records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.

n

Attend to emergency breakdowns as instructed using the company field service unit.

About You

n

Fully qualified Mechanic (Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).

n

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

n

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

n

Current driver's licence (HR licence an advantage)

n

Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented

n

Demonstrated experience maintaining and repairing heavy vehicles.

n

Robust commitment to safe work practices.

n

Experience working in a workshop servicing mixed fleets

n

Exposure to hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and fault diagnostic software

n
