The Role

n

We're looking for an experienced Radiology Reception Manager to lead our reception team and oversee the day-to-day operation of our busy front desk.

n

This full-time role is ideal for an experienced radiology or medical receptionist who is ready to take the next step into a leadership position, or an established reception manager looking to join a modern, independent radiology practice.

n

You'll be responsible for ensuring our reception team operates efficiently while maintaining the warm, professional and personalised patient experience that is central to our practice.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

- Leading and supporting the reception team in the day-to-day running of the practice
n
- Coordinating reception workflows, staff allocation and daily priorities
n
- Welcoming patients and ensuring a professional and positive patient experience
n
- Managing appointment bookings, telephone calls, email enquiries and patient correspondence
n
- Coordinating daily schedules with radiologists, sonographers and radiographers
n
- Managing Medicare billing, private billing, payments and banking
n
- Ensuring referrals,



patient details and billing information are processed accurately
n
- Training, mentoring and supporting reception staff
n
- Managing difficult or complex patient enquiries professionally and sensitively
n
- Monitoring reception performance and identifying opportunities to improve workflow and efficiency
n
- Maintaining high standards of confidentiality, professionalism and patient service
n
- Working closely with practice management and the clinical team to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic
n

About You

n

We're looking for someone who combines excellent organisational skills with strong people skills and a genuine commitment to patient care.

n

Ideally, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in radiology reception or medical reception
n
- Previous supervisory, senior reception or management experience
n
- Strong understanding of Medicare billing and private billing
n
- Experience with radiology or medical software and PACS/RIS systems, such as Voyager, Karisma, Genie or similar
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Confidence leading, mentoring and supporting a reception team
n
- A calm and professional approach in a busy clinical environment
n
- Excellent attention to detail
n
- A genuine commitment to providing exceptional patient service
n
