A well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy with multiple offices across Australia is looking for an Associate or Principal Structural Engineer to lead its structural operation on the Sunshine Coast.

Based in Maroochydore , you will take responsibility for an established team and have the autonomy to lead, develop and further strengthen an already successful operation.

This is effectively a branch leadership position, combining structural engineering with people, commercial and business management responsibilities.

Your role will include:

- Leadership and development of the structural team
- Overall responsibility for project delivery and performance
- P&L;, profitability and commercial management
- Resource planning and workload managementMaintaining quality and technical standards
- Client relationships and business development
- Mentoring and developing engineers
- Managing project deliverables and deadlines
- Identifying opportunities to further grow the Sunshine Coast operation





The project portfolio is diverse and includes:

- Educational facilities
- Aged care projects
- Storage and industrial facilities
- Commercial buildings
- Other significant building structures

We are looking for someone who combines strong structural engineering experience with leadership capability and commercial awareness.

You may already be operating at Associate or Principal level, or perhaps you are an experienced structural leader who is ready to take responsibility for an entire office and team.

Importantly, you won't be starting from zero. There's already a strong team and established workload in place. The opportunity is to take what already exists, provide leadership and direction, and develop the operation even further.
