To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following attributes and experience.Your contribution- Consistently display the ECQ and Queensland Government values, ensuring that these are upheld at all levels of the organisation.- Maintain effective time management practices for the Executive Director, Election Management including coordinating diary appointments, meetings and conferences, venues, processing travel arrangements and monitoring significant issues andfollowing up action items.- Provide secretariat support for internal boards and committees, including the preparation of agendas and minutes for meetings.- Assist in managing high level correspondence to the Executive Director, Election Event Management and identifying urgent or contentious issues requiring immediate attention.- Manage an Outlook address, ensuring responses are prioritised and allocated according to existing protocols.- Coordinate travel requirements including flights,
accommodation and car hire through the Queensland Government's CTM travel portal.- Undertake research and prepare, review and/or progress reports, briefing notes, submissions and executive correspondence in accordance with established protocols and practices.- Contribute to the administration and governance arrangements related to the conduct of electoral events, including by-elections and major elections.- Assist to prepare, review or progress briefs and executive correspondence in accordance with established protocols and practices.- Maintain records in accordance with ECQ's records managements policies and procedures.Job Ad Reference: QLD/ /26Closing Date: Thursday, 10 September 2026This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License. #J-18808-Ljbffr
