Master Electrical Contractors Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Switchboard Builder to join our team on a full-time basis. Based on the Central Coast, NSW, this is a skilled position that plays a crucial role in the manufacturing of switchboards and electrical distribution boards. As a Switchboard Builder, you will be part of a team manufacturing Switchboards for Water and Waste Water projects across NSW.

Key responsibilities

n

Manufacture of switchboards and electrical distribution boards in accordance with relevant Australian standards and regulations

n

Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation accurately

n

Collaborate with other board builder and team members to complete projects on schedule

n

Maintain detailed records of work completed and any issues identified

n

Adhere strictly to all workplace health and safety regulations and company safety procedures

n

What we're looking for

n

Significant experience working with switchboards, control panels, and electrical distribution systems

n

Knowledge of the Australian Standards applicable to Switchboard manufacturing, particularly AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 61439

n

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics

n

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

n

Solid communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
