About the Role

n

We're seeking a hands‐on Site Engineer to join the delivery team on a major station development project in Brisbane. Based on site, you'll provide day‐to‐day engineering support to ensure works are constructed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design and specification.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Provide engineering support and supervision for site construction activities
n
- Set out works and undertake quality checks against design drawings and specifications
n
- Monitor and manage subcontractor performance, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and program requirements
n
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate site records, diaries, and progress documentation
n
- Identify and elevate site risks, non-conformances, and design issues in a timely manner
n
- Coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors,



and the broader project team to keep works on program
n
- Support compliance with rail safety standards (including track access and possession requirements) and environmental obligations
n
- Assist with as‐built documentation and close‐out records
n

About You

n

n
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
n
- Experience in rail, transport, or major infrastructure construction, ideally within live/brownfield environments
n
- Working knowledge of setout, quality assurance processes, and construction methodology
n
- Understanding of rail safety requirements; RIW/rail safety accreditation highly regarded
n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with subcontractors and site teams
n
- A proactive, safety‐first mindset and willingness to be on‐site and hands‐on
n
