Function Coordinator – Exciting Opportunity in a Leading Licensed Club

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Function Coordinator to join our team at Brothers Leagues Club Townsville. This is a hands‐on role, responsible for managing and delivering high-quality events across our five function areas. From weddings and corporate conferences to private celebrations and meetings, you will play a key role in ensuring seamless event execution and exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
n
Manage all function bookings, including client inquiries, quotations, and confirmations.
n
Liaise closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to coordinate menus and catering requirements.
n
Oversee the setup, execution, and pack‐down of events, ensuring high service standards.
n
Coordinate with internal departments, including bar, kitchen, and front‐of‐house teams, to deliver seamless events.
n
Provide exceptional customer service, assisting clients throughout the event planning process.
n
Ensure compliance with all licensing and RSA regulations.
n
Work within budgets and manage event logistics efficiently.
n
Maintain accurate records and reports on function performance.
n
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will have:
n
Proven experience in function coordination, hospitality, or event management.
n
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders.
n
A hands‐on approach with a solid work ethic and attention to detail.
n
RSA certification (Responsible Service of Alcohol) – mandatory.
n
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules.
n
