Castlereagh Boutique Hotel is looking for a friendly, professional and enthusiastic Bar Attendant to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and has a genuine interest in food and beverage.

Key responsibilities

n

Provide friendly, professional and productive service to hotel guests and patrons

n

Prepare and serve beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and other beverages

n

Take customer orders accurately and process transactions through the POS system

n

Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented bar area

n

Restock beverages, glassware and other bar supplies as required

n

Assist with stock rotation, stock control and minimising wastage

n

Make recommendations and upsell beverages where appropriate

n

Ensure responsible service of alcohol (RSA) requirements are followed at all times

n

About you

n

Has previous bar or hospitality experience, preferably in a hotel, restaurant or function environment

n

Holds a current NSW RSA certificate

n

Has excellent customer service and communication skills

n

Is confident, reliable and well presented

n

Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment

n

Has a positive attitude and solid work ethic

n

Is able to work independently as well as part of a team

n

Is flexible and available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
