Experienced Teacher Aides | Education Support

The Younity School is Moreton Bay's independent special assistance middle school, currently supporting 90 students in Years 7 to 9 to re-engage in education and rediscover their love of learning.

n

Since opening in July 2024, we have built a reputation for inclusive, inspiring, and safe classrooms where students thrive. Demand continues to far exceed available places — and our school is growing, with expansion to Years 5 and 6 by 2028.

We are looking for experienced Teacher Aides who want to do more than "just assist" and are excited to help shape a pioneering school community and walk alongside young people on their learning journey.

About the role

n

- Full-time and part time permanent positions
n
- Pay rates from $32 to $45 per hour, plus NFP salary packaging benefits
n
- Support students one-on-one, in small groups, and in class settings to access the curriculum
n
- Assist teachers in creating safe, strengths-based, trauma-informed classrooms
n
- Help prepare learning resources, support daily routines, and encourage student participation
n
- Contribute to small class environments with high staff-to-student ratios
n
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including teachers, youth workers,



and family support staff

About you

n

We are looking for the right people, not just the right CV. You will be:

- Experienced (minimum 3 years) in supporting student learning (school-based or child-related experience essential)
n
- Adaptable, resilient, and creative in your approach
n
- A confident communicator who builds trust easily
n
- Patient, energetic, and able to bring a sense of humour to your work
n
- Passionate about supporting young people to re-engage in learning
n
- Fluent in spoken and written English
n
- Holding a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
n

Experience with students with disability, trauma backgrounds, or additional learning needs will be highly regarded.
