Skye Dental is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. This is a full-time role based in Capalaba, Queensland, supporting our dedicated dental team and delivering exceptional patient experiences.

What you'll be doing

n

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic dental software

n

Providing exceptional customer service to ensure patients have a positive experience

n

Collaborating with the dental team to ensure the smooth running of the practice

n

Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing equipment, instruments, and materials

n

Sterilising and maintaining dental instruments and equipment

n

Providing chairside assistance to dentists, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow

n

Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring a positive patient experience

n

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

n

Performing general administrative duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory

n

What we're looking for

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team

n

Excellent organisation and time management skills with attention to detail

n





Proficiency in using dental practice management software (exact experience is highly advantageous)

n

A friendly, qualified, and empathetic demeanor when interacting with patients

n

Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification

n

Minimum 2 years' experience as a Dental Assistant

n

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

n

Comfortable working as part of a team, as well as independently

n

Excellent time management and multitasking skills

n

A genuine passion for healthcare and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
