We have positions available for immediate start, within a stable work environment forUnskilled Meat Workerswith no experience in meat processing based in Warrnambool, Victoria.

n

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

n

n
- Packing of meat into boxes or plastic bag
n
- Marshaling of carcasses and carton into refrigerator, freezers and shipping container, manual lifting required
n
- General tidying up slaughter floors and boning rooms, by using shovels and brooms
n
- Assisting with removal of hides, fore & hind hock from carcasses, manual and mechanical
n




- Attaching a shackle chain around the rear leg of a cattle and lifting carcasses forelegs into cleats in the slaughter chain
n
- Removal of animal tail by using a knife
n
- Folding pre-cut cardboard into a carton and insert plastic liner
n

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

n

n
- You must be reliable, physically fit and willing to work as part of a team
n
- You understand the importance of good hygiene, attention to detail and following procedures
n
- You must have the right to work full-time in Australia (38 hours/week)
n
- You must pass a drug & alcohol test and be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical if required
n
- You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process.
