We're looking for a Team Leader to manage a team ofDesktop Home Assessors,responsible for assessing and managing home insurance claims end-to-end using virtual tools.

n

About the Role

n

In this role, you'll manage a team and a portfolio of home insurance claims from lodgement through to settlement, using desktop assessment tools and expert reports to determine scope, cost and repair outcomes.

n

You'll be responsible for:

n

n
- Providing day-to-day leadership, guidance and support to a team of claims professionals
n
- Monitoring team performance, workloads, SLAs and claims outcomes to ensure service standards are consistently met
n
- Coaching and mentoring team members, providing feedback and supporting their technical and career development
n




- Escalating complex or high-risk claims and providing technical guidance on appropriate claims outcomes
n
- Conducting desktop assessments of property damage using virtual tools and supplier reports
n
- Determining cause of damage, policy coverage and appropriate repair methods
n
- Working closely with builders, suppliers, repairers and internal claims teams
n

About You

n

You'll bring a practical, hands‐on understanding of building or construction and be comfortable working in a fast‐paced claims environment.

n

You'll have:

n

n
- Strong Team leadership experienceandqualities
n
- Experience in Insurance building, estimating, restoration, construction, or insurance assessing (trade background highly regarded)
n
- Strong understanding of residential building practices and repair methods
n
- Ability to interpret scopes, quotes and technical reports
n
- Strong attention to detail and sound decision‐making skills
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
n
- A customer‐first mindset with resilience and empathy
n
