Cancer Care Foundation (CCF) was established in 2018 as a not-for-profit charity organization dedicated to one clear purpose - creating the much-needed practical support for cancer patients to ease and improve their treatment journey so their energies are focused on getting well.

CCF manages clinical trials at multiple centres across Australia. Due to the growth of our clinical trials business, CCF requires a Finance Officer to join our team at CCF head office in Miranda.

Summary of Current Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable / Payable

n

- Processing supplier bills and invoices
n
- Reviewing and processing staff/patients' reimbursement requests
n
- Following up invoice approvals and supporting documentation
n
- Preparing and processing supplier and reimbursement payments
n
- Responding to supplier payment queries
n
- Responding to sponsor invoicing queries
n
- Reviewing aged debtors
n

Payroll & HR

n

n
- HR and employee administration relating to payroll
n
- Payroll preparation, review and finalisation
n
- Payroll changes, leave and adjustments
n
- Payroll and HR queries
n
- Superannuation compliance
n

Finance, Compliance & Reporting

n

n
- Overall management and oversight of the finance function
n
- Bank account oversight and bank reconciliations
n
- Financial function review and reporting preparation
n
- Quarterly BAS preparation, lodgement and payment
n
- Monthly IAS preparation, lodgement and payment
n
- Payroll-related compliance, including superannuation and other statutory obligations
n
- Budget preparation in coordination with internal team
n
- Annual audit preparation and liaison with auditors
n
- Preparing and reviewing management and board reports
n
- Board meeting preparation and attendance
n
- Monitoring key finance, payroll and compliance deadlines
n
