Job Description

To support our expansion plans, we are currently hiring Software Engineer (IFS Cloud) to strengthen our team and embark on an exciting new journey with us. The person in this position would be responsible for the design, development, and testing of custom extensions, integrations, and reporting components within IFS Cloud, working to specifications set by the Software Architect. The role focuses on hands‐on technical development, ensuring custom code is well‐structured, upgrade‐safe, and aligned to IFS Cloud development standards.

What you'll be doing:

- Design, develop, and unit test custom extensions within IFS Cloud using the IFS Developer Studio and extensibility framework.

- Build and maintain integrations between IFS Cloud and third‐party systems in line with approved integration specifications.
n
- Develop custom reports, layouts, and dashboards within IFS Cloud to meet client business requirements.
n
- Write clean, maintainable, and well‐documented code in line with ICAU's development standards and IFS Cloud best practice.

- Participate in code reviews, both giving and receiving feedback, to maintain consistent code quality across the team.
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified during SIT, UAT, and post‐go‐live hypercare support.
n
- Support version control discipline and release packaging for custom development components.
n
- Work closely with Systems Engineers to understand configuration context and ensure custom development integrates cleanly with platform configuration.
n
- Escalate technical blockers, design ambiguity, or scope concerns to the Software Architect in a timely manner.

- Maintain technical documentation for developed components, including design notes, test evidence, and deployment instructions.

What we expect from you:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience developing custom extensions within IFS Cloud or IFS Applications using the IFS Developer Studio.
n
- Working knowledge of the IFS Cloud extensibility framework, including client and projection development concepts.
n
- Experience building integrations using REST/OData APIs, IFS Connect, or similar middleware/integration approaches.
n
- Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, with experience writing and troubleshooting queries.
n
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and structured release/deployment processes.
n
- Experience working within a structured software development lifecycle, including unit testing and code review practices.
n
- Strong problem‐solving skills and the ability to debug issues across configuration, integration, and custom code layers.
n
- Relevant IFS Cloud development certifications desirable.
n
- Prior experience in an ERP or enterprise application development environment desirable.
