About the Role

n

As a Senior Product Manager, you will operate at the intersection of business, technology and user experience.

n

Working closely with product designers, engineers, customers and stakeholders, you will lead product discovery and delivery activities to build products that customers love while supporting Transmax's strategic objectives.

n

This is an individual contributor role that requires strong stakeholder engagement, influence and collaboration skills to drive successful product outcomes across the business.

What You'll Do

n

Product Management

n

n
- Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and ensure solutions solve meaningful problems.
n
- Lead product discovery, experimentation and validation activities to test and refine product ideas.
n
- Partner with Product Designers and Engineers to deliver valuable, usable, feasible and viable solutions.
n
- Develop and execute product strategies, roadmaps and priorities aligned to company objectives.
n
- Use Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to connect product delivery with strategic outcomes.
n
- Drive the product vision and champion Product Management best practices across the organisation.
n
- Prioritise features and initiatives based on customer value, business impact,



feasibility and usability.
n
- Coordinate go-to-market activities for current products and features.
n
- Monitor product performance through analytics and data-driven decision making.
n
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify opportunities and points of differentiation.
n
- Identify product gaps and opportunities that grow market share and enhance customer experience.
n
- Contribute to business cases supporting strategic product investment and innovation.

Research & Development

n

- Investigate emerging technologies and trends relevant to the ITS industry.
n
- Maintain research and development records supporting annual R&D; tax incentive requirements.
n

What You'll Bring

You are a customer-focused Product Manager who enjoys solving complex problems and working across commercial, operational and technical environments.

n

You have a strong understanding of multiple product management frameworks and the ability to select the right tool for the right situation.

n

You can confidently influence stakeholders, thrive in ambiguity, and balance strategic thinking with practical delivery.

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Technology or equivalent industry experience.
n
- 4+ years' experience managing technology-enabled products.
n




- Experience applying modern product discovery and delivery methodologies.
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
n
- Ability to develop solutions in complex and ambiguous environments.
n
- Experience collaborating effectively with engineers, designers and business leaders.
n
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
n

Highly Desirable

n

n
- Experience working with ICT products within specialist industry environments.
n
- Familiarity with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) concepts and terminology.
n
- Experience working in B2B commercial environments.
n
- Experience using Productboard, Jira and Confluence.
n
- Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites and industry events (up to five interstate trips annually).
