Site Manager - Commercial Operations & Employment Services

We are seeking an experienced and people focused Site Manager to lead the day to day operations of a successful commercial enterprise located in Wetherill Park which provides meaningful employment, development and career opportunities for people with disability.

This is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who can balance commercial performance with social impact, while leading a dedicated team and building strong relationships with customers, employees and internal stakeholders.

As the Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the site operates efficiently, sustainably and safely, while delivering high quality commercial packing services and creating an inclusive and supportive workplace.

About the Role

n

You will oversee the commercial and operational performance of the site, ensuring customer requirements are met while also supporting the employment, development and daily needs of supported employees.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead and manage the site to achieve commercial, operational and financial objectives.
n
- Manage commercial packing services while ensuring the needs of clients and supported employees are effectively met.
n
- Lead and develop a team to ensure daily operational and employment requirements are achieved.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers, internal stakeholders and service partners.
n
- Work closely with the Operations Supervisor and support staff to ensure the site has the capacity and resources to meet contractual and workforce requirements.
n
- Monitor expenditure and manage resources effectively to achieve financial and performance targets within budget.
n
- Ensure staff training, compliance, competency and assessment requirements are maintained and up to date.
n
- Maintain accurate client and employee information, work orders, rosters and operational data within relevant software systems.
n




- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, customer service and commercial growth.
n
- Promote a positive, inclusive and supportive workplace culture.
n
- Ensure operational practices align with relevant policies, procedures, compliance requirements and organisational objectives.

About You

You will ideally bring:

- Proven experience in site, operations, production, warehouse or commercial management.
n
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
n
- Experience managing budgets, expenditure and financial performance.
n
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
n
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
n
- The ability to balance competing commercial, operational and people requirements.
n
- Experience working within a compliance driven environment.
n
- Robust communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with people at all levels.
n
- A proactive, hands on approach to leadership and continuous improvement.
n
