Jumbo Operator – Scotia Mine – Redpath Mining

Full-Time, Permanent – Roster 2/2 – FIFO & DIDO Options Available.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate twin-boom jumbo drill rigs safely and efficiently
n
- Complete development drilling in accordance with mine plans and drill designs
n
- Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
n
- Maintain accurate drilling profiles and development standards
n
- Identify and report equipment faults and operational issues
n
- Work closely with Charge Up, Service Crew, and supervisory teams
n
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and statutory requirements
n
- Complete production and safety documentation
n
- Maintain housekeeping standards in underground work areas
n

Qualifications

n

n
- Proven experience operating underground development jumbos
n
- Ability to read and interpret mine plans and mark-ups
n
- Strong understanding of underground development processes
n
- Commitment to safe work practices and compliance
n




- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
n
- Valid manual driver's licence
n
- Experience on Sandvik jumbo equipment highly regarded
n
- Ability to work FIFO roster
n
