About the role

n

You will provide one-to-one supports to male participants across home and community settings. Many supports include gender-matched personal care at the participant's request. Your work will focus on dignity, cultural safety, positive relationships and participant choice and control.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Daily living supports, including personal care, meal prep and domestic tasks
n
- Community access, appointments and recreation
n
- Accurate progress notes, incident reporting and communication with the team
n
- Transport using your insured, roadworthy vehicle when required
n
- Uphold the NDIS Code of Conduct, privacy and safeguarding at all times
n

- Tech-confident for rostering apps, incident forms and note-taking

- Availability for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts within reason

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (cleared)
n
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Valid driver licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
n
- Full Australian work rights
n
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card or willingness to obtain)
n
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Mental Health or similar
n
- Experience supporting men with psychosocial disability, autism or complex needs
n
- Cultural capability and commitment to inclusive practice
n
