- Lead volunteer programs that protect rights and support people across Victoria.
- Guide a small team and support about 700 volunteers.
- Help shape how volunteers are recruited, trained and supported.
- Make a real difference to people with disability and others needing support.
- Ongoing full-time role earning $116,413 - $140,849 per year, plus super.

What you will do

As coordinator, volunteer engagement, you will lead volunteer programs across Victoria. You will guide staff and support about 700 volunteers across three programs.

You will:

- leadstrongvolunteer recruitment, selection, training, support and monitoring processes.
- provideclearadvice, guidance and training to volunteers and staff.
- supporteffectivevolunteer events, surveys, records, policies and appointment processes.




- lead asmallteam and support staff performance, learning and development.
- resolvecomplexissues and help improve volunteer programs under tight timeframes.

About you

No qualification is mandatory for this role. Extensive experience as a volunteer coordinator or manager is highly desirable. A relevant tertiary qualification in social science or a related field is also desirable.

You should also have:

- strong knowledgeof Victoria's disability and mental health sectors.
- extensive experienceworking with volunteers and applying relevant standards and legislation.
- clear communication skillsto handle sensitive issues and build trusted working relationships.
- people leadership skillsto guide staff, manage projects and improve services.
