Our client is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Customer Service & Dispatch Officer to join their busy operations team in Carrington. This short-term opportunity for approximately 3 months is perfect for someone who enjoys being at the centre of the action, coordinating schedules, supporting customers, and helping keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Coordinate daily transport schedules and driver allocations
n
- Maintain accurate records using transport management and computer systems
n
- Liaise with customers regarding delivery times, enquiries, and service issues
n
- Communicate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
n
- Monitor deliveries and resolve scheduling issues in real time
n
- Keep calm, stay organised, and help solve the occasional logistics puzzle
n

About You

n

n
- Confident using computers, Microsoft Office and scheduling systems
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Able to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
n




- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
n
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, customer service or administration is highly regarded
n
- Available to commence immediately
n
- Enjoy working with people and can have a laugh while getting the job done
n

Hours

- Monday to Friday
n
- 8 to 10 hour shifts
n
- Some flexibility may be required during peak periods
n
