We're looking for reliable, hard-working people to join a busy meat processing operation in Yamanto.

n

You don't necessarily need years of experience. We're open to candidates from a mixed range of backgrounds - meat processing, production, manufacturing, food processing, warehousing or similar.

The Role

n

You'll be working in a cold room environment, processing and handling pork products while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and quality.

n

Duties can include:

n

n
- Processing, preparing, sorting and packing pork products
n
- Knife-hand duties for candidates with the right experience
n
- Picking and packing products to customer specifications
n
- Manual handling of meat products, cartons and trays
n
- Moving and stacking product throughout the facility
n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic work area
n
- Following food safety procedures and workplace instructions
n
- Working as part of a team to hit daily production targets
n

What We're Looking For

Experience is great - attitude is more important.

We'd ideally like candidates who have experience in:

n

n
- Meat processing or food production
n
- Production, manufacturing or processing environments
n
- Food handling or food hygiene
n
- Knife-hand work
n

n

But don't rule yourself out if your background is different. We're happy to consider people from a range of industries who have the right work ethic and are willing to learn.

You'll need to:

- Be reliable and punctual
n
- Have a strong work ethic and positive attitude
n
- Be comfortable working in a cold room
n
- Be physically fit and capable of regular manual handling
n
- Be comfortable lifting reasonable weights and moving meat products
n
- Be able to follow instructions and work safely
n
- Be committed to Monday–Friday full time hours
n

Hours

n

Monday–Friday | Full-time hours | $34.96

n

Start times will be either 3:00am or 5:00am, and you must be available for both start times. The start time will be flexible depending on operational requirements.

n

Expect 8–10 hour shifts.
