About the Role and Our Practice

n

As our Patient Concierge / Reception Person, you will play a central role in the day-to-day patient experience. You will welcome patients warmly and professionally, create a genuinely personal experience, and support patients before and after consultations.

n

COSMEX is an established plastic surgery practice with an experienced and supportive team. We operate during standard business hours.

n

To be an eligible candidate, you must be available to work between the hours of 8.30am or 9.00am, and to work through until 5.00pm to 5.30pm, with occasional finishes at 6.00pm when required.

n

Availability across these hours is an essential requirement of the position.

Key Responsibilities

n

Welcoming patients warmly and professionally

n

Creating a genuinely personal experience

n

Managing a busy front desk and telephone

n

Scheduling appointments and managing patient bookings

n

Supporting patients before and after consultations

n

Providing information about appointments, procedures and next steps

n

Processing payments and maintaining accurate patient records

n





Managing correspondence, emails and general administration

n

Liaising with surgeons, nurses and other members of the clinical team

n

Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive patient information appropriately

n

About You

n

Previous experience in medical, specialist or private practice reception

n

Warm, friendly and naturally welcoming

n

Confident and professional in your communication

n

Calm and composed when the reception area gets busy

n

Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities

n

Accurate and attentive to detail

n

Comfortable discussing sensitive and confidential matters

n

Proactive rather than waiting to be told what needs doing

n

A team player who is happy to pitch in wherever needed

n

Reliable and committed to being an important part of the team

n
