n We are seeking an experienced Transport Manager to oversee daily transport operations and ensure products are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
n
About the Role
n
n
- Manage daily transport operations, delivery schedules and fleet utilisation
n
- Coordinate drivers, subcontractors, vehicles and delivery resources
n
- Schedule deliveries around production requirements and construction site access
n
- Liaise with production, sales, customers and site teams
n
- Monitor delivery performance, transport costs and driver productivity
n
- Manage vehicle maintenance, servicing and compliance
n
- Ensure WHS, Chain of Responsibility and heavy vehicle compliance
n
- Resolve delivery issues and changing site requirements
n
- Lead and support drivers and transport personnel
n
- Identify opportunities to improve transport efficiency and customer service
n
n
About You
n
n
- Previous experience as a Transport Manager, Transport Supervisor or Logistics Manager
n
- Strong experience managing heavy vehicle fleets and drivers
n
- Understanding of construction logistics and time-critical site deliveries
n
- Experience with pod slabs, precast, concrete, building products or similar highly regarded
n
- Sound knowledge of CoR and transport compliance
n
- Strong scheduling, communication and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced production and construction environment
n
- Confident leader with a hands-on approach
n
