Job Description
The Environment Supervisor (ES) is responsible for on-ground supervision and coordination of the Environment field team, undertaking natural resource management (NRM) activities including bush regeneration, weed control, revegetation and site assessment. The ES plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the organisation operates in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. This position may involve working remotely at times which will require the successful applicant to be away from home from Monday to Friday.

- Experience in bush regeneration and/or associated fields, such as horticulture, weed control, revegetation and landscaping.
n
- Experience supervising teams and performance.
n
- Understanding of best practice bush regeneration, landscaping and light construction.
n
- Knowledge of weed control measures, vegetation communities, plant identification skills, and awareness of environmental issues.
n
- Strong communication and administrative skills, including the use of computers and Microsoft Office suite.
n
- Understanding of risk management processes and systems, and their relationship to business/project objectives.
n
- Experience using GPS, Avenza, FieldMaps as required.
n
- Ability to work as a team member within the ethos and values of Envite and Workways Australia.
n
- Certificate III in Conservation & Land Management or equivalent
n
- Minimum 3 years bush regeneration experience
n
- Drivers Licence
n
- Experience leading teams whilst undertaking ecological restoration.
n
- Physically fit, motivated and capable of working in challenging outdoor environments
n
- Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
n
- Understanding and ability to follow WHS policies and procedures
n
- ACDC Licence / ACUP (Agriculture Chemical User Permit)
n
- White Card (Construction)
n
- Senior First Aid
n
- Cross-cut Chainsaw ticket
n
- 4x4 experience/qualifications
n
