Stuartholme School is a Catholic day and boarding school situated in Toowong, Brisbane.

Registered Nurses support our Boarding students while they live on campus for their secondary schooling. Nurses also support day students and staff throughout school terms.

n

ROLE PURPOSE

n

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of nursing care and coordination of health care of the students in the Boarding House and, during the school day, providing primary health care to students and staff.

n

You will be responsible for:

- Care of Students
n
- Emergency First Aid
n
- Communication with parents, Dean of Boarding and Dean of Student Wellbeing
n
- Documentation
n

n

It's important that your experience has developed your ability to work independently, triage and make decisions about treatment.

n





Experience in boarding house or residential care will be beneficial though not mandatory.

n

This is an ongoing role (during school terms in 2026) commencing 17th and 18th October and every second weekend after that until 27 November 2026, working the following shifts-

n

Saturday 4:30pm - 9:30 pm

n

Sunday 4:30pm – 9:30pm

n

And on call from 8am Saturday until 7:30am Monday

n

Other casual shifts may be available during the week.

n

Shifts for 2027 will be considered by the end of November and further employment in 2027 is possible.

n

Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

n

As this is role is in an all-girls dormitory, only female candidates will be considered (in accord with the relevant legislation).
