About the role

n

This is a dual Dental Assistant / Receptionist position where you'll play an important part in both patient care and practice operations. Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Being the first point of contact at reception — greeting patients, managing appointments, and accounts
n
- Processing payments (EFTPOS, HICAPS, Afterpay)
n
- Chairside assisting (four-handed dentistry)



and coordinating treatment planning
n
- Maintaining high standards of infection control, sterilisation, and surgery preparation
n
- Communicating with patients and dental laboratories
n
- Working alongside our therapy dog Molar (our much-loved Cavoodle!)
n
- Contributing to a supportive and flexible team environment
n

n

This position start in casual full time hours, with permanent position offered upon successful probation. Work hours include regular weekday hours and Saturdays as required.

About you

We're looking for someone who:

n

n
- Has robust communication skills and a genuine ability to connect with patients
n
- Is warm, caring, and able to create a calm, positive experience for patients
n
- Brings exceptional customer service skills
n
- Is well presented, professional, and takes pride in their work
n
- Has experience with dental software (ideally EXACT), HICAPS, and basic computer programs
n

n

Previous dental experience is highly regarded, but we're happy to provide training for the right person who is motivated and eager to learn.
