Key Responsibilities

About the role

n

This isn't a desk job or role where you are managing one big site; you'll be leading multiple rebuild projects at once, from storm repairs to partial rebuilds and everything in between.

n

As Project Manager in QLD, you'll take ownership across:

n

n
- Overseeing multiple residential insurance projects from assessment to completion
n
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
n
- Keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and to high standards
n
- Being the go-to person for clients, homeowners and trades ensuring trust and clear communication
n
- Resolving onsite challenges before they become issues
n
- Managing documentation, scope changes, and financials
n

You'll also help us shape how we do things in QLD, building systems,



culture, and potentially stepping into leadership as the team grows.

Skill & Experience

n

About you

n

You're an experienced manager of projects and people, ready to step into a role with real impact.

n

We're looking for someone who brings:

n

n
- 5+ years of experience supervising residential (and/or commercial) construction in the insurance industry
n
- Experience in estimating is highly regarded.
n
- QBCC Supervisors licence (required)
n
- Trade certification (Cert III) preferred, with Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction a plus.
n
- Leadership experience: managing teams, subcontractors, and complex builds
n
- Strong time-management skills; you can juggle multiple moving parts
n
- A proactive, problem-solving approach with clients and stakeholders
n
- Computer skills required, experience in Prime, MS Project, Team GANTT and Excel is highly regarded.
n
- Role will be focussed in South Brisbane and surrounding regions with travel from time to time.

Insurance experience is a huge bonus, but if you're willing to learn, we'll support you.

n

Applicants who have established relationships with loss adjusters and leading adjusting firms will be prioritised.
